Asset Management

Ekko Asset Management (EAM) commenced operations in January 2011 following the completion of EkkoPoint Properties’ first townhouse development, Castle Mews at 21 Lacey Road, Carseldine. Castle Mews consisted of 36 duplex townhouses, 20 of which were sold to Defence Housing Australia and this relationship with DHA has continued with caretaking duties conducted for 50+ DHA properties across the EAM portfolio.  Since inception, EAM has grown to manage the caretaking of in excess of 400 properties across 12 projects.

The decision to operate separate property management and caretaking arms was deliberate, one made to ensure that each development received the highest level of service possible with experienced and qualified staff dedicated to both sides of a management right.

EAM now holds the full management rights to six Community Title Schemes (Kelvin Grove, Everton Park, Carseldine (x2), The Gap & Bald Hills) as well as caretaking rights on another six developments at The Gap, Carseldine (x4) and Fitzgibbon.

In addition to caretaking and facilities management, EAM now holds a full electrical contractors licence and are undertaking electrical maintenance, smoke alarm testing / compliance and  upgrades required by new legislation coming into force in 2022 for all rental properties.
